PRESS RELEASE VAPE AND JUICE
Vape and Juice announces that it is transferring its wholly owned retail stores to the Totally Wicked Group. The two UK e-cigarette retail chains have come to an agreement, where Vape and Juice’s offline and online operations will be separated. Vape and Juice will continue to trade as an online vape retailer, a Franchise network and manufacturer/distributor, but will cease operating its own company owned vape shops. Our online e-cig store remains unaffected and will represent the flagship of the new Vape and Juice focus.
Following the transfer of ownership, there will be will be a period of transition where Totally Wicked will continue to operate Vape and Juice stores in their original name before changing the stores branding to Totally Wicked. For those customers who wish to purchase Vape and Juice exclusive lines such as Kraken, Pink Label and Honest Dave’s; you will be able to do so up until the stores rebrand.
Co-founder David Mason stated after the deal’s completion. “The market has seen some real negative fall-out from unrelated US scare stories, which has really impacted some of the smaller independent vaping stores. Our first priority was to ensure jobs were saved and I am over the moon that another non-tobacco owned group could step in and make this possible. We have been a family run business from the outset, my late father helped me put the sign above the door, and Totally Wicked is another company that shares the same values.
This deal allows Vape and Juice to focus on growing our online store in the UK and Germany and develop our brands Pink Label, Kraken, Cotton and Kanthal, Jack the Dripper etc to a wider global audience.”
