What is the difference between a pen style ecig and a box vape?

If you have just started vaping, or are considering a new device, you will have seen the 1000’s of different brands and styles on the market. A question people often ask us is “What is the difference between a pen style ecig and a box vape?”

The answer is varied. Sometimes there isn’t much of a difference between a pen style ecig and a box design in the vape experience, it is just cosmetic, or a personal preference to how it feels in your hand and in your pocket.

However, you may find that box vapes have a few more features than the simpler pen style devices. Some of the box vapes have screens which you can adjust temperature, watts, see battery life, check puff count and even play games.

A pen style device is much simpler and rarely has a screen or any ability to adjust watts. Pen style devices are perfect for someone who doesn't need all the bells and whistles that come with the more gadgetty box vapes.

There is often a little more power in the box style devices, and the battery life can last longer. Some even say that you get more of a throat hit with a lower nicotine content and you will probably find that you can produce bigger clouds. However, many of our customers are drawn to the pen style device as it fits better in their pocket or handbag.

It is all down to personal preference, one is not better than the other. Have a try of a pen style ecig and a box vape to see which one you prefer.
