More Vapour? December 18 2014, 0 Comments

Following on from our recent post 'Cloud Chasing - Sub ohm vaping' today we will discuss what you should be looking for in your selection when aiming to reach for those clouds. For more information after this blog you can pop into our vape shop Canterbury. We have other affiliates in Southend, Southchurch, Enfield and Clacton.

The two major constituents of ejuice are PG and VG. Propylene Glycol and Vegetable Glycerin. Both perfectly safe and heavily tested products, that are commonly found in household foods. The scare stories that these are found in Bleach, ignore their reason for being in it..... its to make it non toxic in case children consume it.

PG and VG have two unique roles to play in making the vaping experience. PG provides the throat hit that helps smokers quit smoking by making the sensation similar to inhaling on a cigarette, while the VG produces a greater vapour. VG has a sweeter taste to it, which makes it great for many dessert vape flavours. In our Vape shop Canterbury we stock juices with a 50/50 ratio which has a more subtle throat hit and noticeably bigger vape clouds. This is great if you want to produce those dragon puffs, but importantly is good if you are sensitive to PG. A small percentage of users have an allergy to PG and lowering the PG content is therefore a good idea. As you reduce the VG to the 70/30 and 80/20 high PG ratio, you will not produce the same amount of vapour but get a stronger throat hit. This latter scenario is better for those who are currently looking to kick the cigarette habit and the throat hit is a signal to the brain that you are having a cigarette. Lower vapour production is good if you are vaping in public and don't want to draw too much attention to yourself as well. Eg: on the train ;)
