What nicotine strength do I need?

What nicotine strength do I need?

You have decided to take the plunge and make an investment into your health by getting yourself a vape device. Congratulations!

You will probably have some questions, like, which device do I buy, where do I get it from and what nicotine strength do I need?

In this blog we are going to help you decide what nicotine strength you need to get started and feel comfortable with the new device.

The nicotine level you choose will be determined by how much you smoked previously, as well as how the peppery taste feels on your throat. If it’s too strong for you, or when you’re just getting used to vaping you might find that too strong of a nicotine level is a bit much to handle.

It is important to find the nicotine strength you need as using one that is too high can cause insomnia, headaches and nausea. Using one that is too low might make you frustrated with the device and send you right back to the shop for a packet of cigarettes.

Zero mg liquids have absolutely no nicotine in them. They are ideal for people who are social smokers, or those who have worked their way down from higher strengths and weaned themselves off of nicotine. Also ideal for people who like a strong vape flavour. You can check out our zero nic eliquids here

Is the lowest concentration of nicotine you will find, and not all the juices are available it this strength yet. It’s ideal if you occasionally smoke, steal your mates ciggies at the pub, or if you are gradually trying to get nicotine out of your system. The flavour in this nicotine strength liquid is usually more intense.

This nicotine strength is for you if you previously smoked about 10 cigarettes a day, or less. It is a lower concentration which shouldn’t leave you feeling sick or dizzy.

This is the middle of the road strength. It is for those who smoked up to 20 ciggs a day and is classified as medium. You might notice that this one has a more peppery taste than the lower ones, and might feel a little scratchy on your throat.

18mg is now the highest concentration of nicotine you can get in your e-liquid (unless you add your own nic shots) this is the strength for you if you have previously smoked 30+ cigarettes a day. If you start to notice this feels a little too strong after a few weeks then it is time to reduce your level.
