How do vape pens work?
To put it simply, vape pens work by heating the e-liquid which contains flavourings, VG, PG and sometimes nicotine. This creates a vapor that can be inhaled. A vape pen will either be draw or button activated, this just means that you will either take a draw to heat the liquid and get the vapour or push a button.
Vape pens don’t burn tobacco like cigarettes, but they still offer a nicotine dose.

How long a vape pen lasts will depend on the size of the battery. You can find vape pens with battery sizes anywhere from 500mAH to 3000mAh and beyond! If you want your pen to be able to go long periods between charges then opt for the higher mAh and use a low wattage setting if you have the option to.
The length of time the vape pen lasts will depend on your vaping style too and how much you vape, so keep that in mind.
How much do vape pens cost?
The price of vape pens will vary depending on different brands and battery sizes. Some are very basic and will likely be cheaper than those with lots of bells and whistles such as adjustable power and airflow.

How to use a vape pen
It is simple to use a vape pen, which is why they often appeal to starters. You simply press the fire button and inhale on the mouthpiece. You then draw the vapor into your mouth then lungs. This is what we call MTL or mouth to lung vaping.
More advanced vape pens such as the SMOK Stick have a direct to lung (DTL) inhale. With this type of inhale you draw the vapor directly into the lungs. This isn’t as ideal for beginners as it doesn’t replicate smoking in the same way as an MTL draw does.
When you have finished using your vape pen, click the fire button five times to turn it off. This helps to prevent it from going off in your pocket or bag.
