The answer to this is no, not necessarily. When you take a puff on a cigarette you will get a hit at the back of your throat, this is replicated exactly with e-cigs. This throat hit isn’t to do with tobacco, it is to do with the level of nicotine you inhale.
With an e-cig you can control the level of nicotine you want to inhale, choosing anything from 3mg right up to 18mg. At Vape and Juice we stock low level nicotine, including 0mg, 3mg and 6mg, right through to 12mg and 18mg for those looking for something stronger.
If you were used to smoking 20 or more a day then it is most likely that you will be after an 18mg. If you were smoking 6-10 a day then you will probably want a lower level of nicotine. If you go too high with the nicotine and are enjoying the flavour so much that you chain vape you might find that you are left with a headache, dizziness and nausea. If you are unsure what strength you should be vaping then ask in store and even try out some different flavours and strengths to see what hits the spot.
Eventually, as you decide to wean yourself off of the nicotine you can reduce the strength right down to 0mg. You can buy devices that provide you with the throat hit even when using a very low nicotine strength.
Your e-cigarette can be as strong as you chose it to be as you have much more control over your intake than you do with traditional ciggies.
